Watch Massimo Simion rebuild vertical and horizontal ridges — 12 narrated GBR surgeries, from incision to suture
In Advanced Bone Regeneration Protocols, Milan periodontology professor Massimo Simion talks you through twelve full surgical recordings, roughly 10 hours of operating time. Several cases are followed across stages — ridge preservation, three-dimensional augmentation, membrane removal and implant insertion — so you see how each decision plays out months later. Titanium-reinforced and resorbable membranes, sinus elevation, connective tissue grafts and immediate implants in the aesthetic zone all appear.
- 12surgical videos
- 10 hof footage
- 3multi-stage cases
What you’ll be able to do
- Design incisions and periosteal release that give tension-free primary closure
- Choose between titanium-reinforced and resorbable membranes and fix them securely
- Trim a membrane so it reproduces the planned defect shape
- Harvest and combine bone grafts suited to vertical or horizontal gain
- Manage soft tissue in one-stage and staged GBR, including collagen matrices and CTG
- Suture regenerative sites for predictable healing
Inside the course
Aesthetic-zone implants and soft tissue
An upper central incisor is extracted and replaced by an immediate implant with a connective tissue graft and same-day provisional; a second case corrects a neighbouring gingival margin with an envelope flap and submucosal graft.
Staged cases followed over months
Teeth 21 and 22 go from socket grafting to 3D augmentation under a titanium-reinforced membrane at four months, then reopening at seven months for two implants. A peri-implantitis defect across 22–25 and a resorbed posterior maxilla treated with vertical GBR plus sinus lift are each shown in two stages, through membrane retrieval and implant placement.
Single-session reconstructions
A post-traumatic bone and soft tissue defect rebuilt under a resorbable collagen membrane, a thin crest widened with a screw-supported membrane, and a vertically resorbed posterior mandible augmented while three implants are placed.

Before you buy
Are there theory lectures, or only operations?
Every lesson is a narrated surgical recording; principles are explained during the procedures rather than in separate slide lectures.
How advanced is the surgery shown?
Most cases involve vertical or three-dimensional reconstruction with non-resorbable membranes, so prior implant and flap experience is assumed.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
