ARRS High-Resolution Chest CT 2024 — a structured course on interstitial lung disease imaging
ARRS High-Resolution Chest CT 2024 is a six-module course on reading interstitial lung disease, taught mainly by thoracic radiologists but with pulmonologists and a thoracic surgeon in the faculty. Alongside the patterns themselves you hear when referral imaging is appropriate, how bronchoscopy and surgical biopsy supply pathology, where antifibrotic drugs come in and how transplant candidates are worked up. Two panel sessions put Brett Elicker, Brent Little, Santiago Martinez-Jimenez and colleagues in front of case material.
- 24lectures
- 2case panels
- 24faculty
- 6modules
What you’ll be able to do
- Set up HRCT technique correctly and read the secondary lobule with confidence
- Separate nodules, lines and attenuation differences into a usable pattern approach
- Distinguish UIP-IPF from the fibrotic mimics, including hypersensitivity pneumonitis and CTD-ILD
- Recognise cystic, small-airway, smoking-related and acute lung disease
- Advise on biopsy, antifibrotic therapy and transplant referral in ILD
- Detect acute exacerbations and post-transplant complications early
Inside the course
High-Resolution Chest CT groundwork
Indications, anatomy and technique, with pulmonary function testing explained for radiologists, then two pattern-based interpretation lectures and the roles of bronchoscopy and surgical lung biopsy.
Non-fibrotic and fibrotic disease
Chronic increased opacity, acute lung injury, cystic disease and small airways, followed by UIP, non-UIP fibrosis, emerging diagnoses and ILD in thoracic oncology.
Guidelines and emerging entities
CTD-ILD and IPAF, radiographic signs of acute exacerbation, smoking-related parenchymal disease and hypersensitivity pneumonitis, closed by a lung disease case panel.
Complications, AI and transplant
Complications of diffuse lung disease, artificial intelligence in ILD, antifibrotic and transplant considerations, imaging after lung transplant, and a final unknown-case panel.
Built for
- Thoracic and general radiologistsA disciplined approach to ILD reports that clinicians can act on.
- Pulmonologists and ILD clinic teamsSee how radiologists reach and qualify a CT pattern.
- Radiology fellows and residentsA complete HRCT curriculum with live case discussion.

Before you buy
Is this the same as the short “HRCT 1: The Basics” lecture set?
No. That is a four-lecture, 1.5-hour introduction from 2021; this 2024 course is far broader, with 24 lectures and two panels.
What is known about running time and file size for the chest CT course?
Neither is specified; it is supplied as videos with a PDF.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
