CardiologyBoard prep2026
ASNC Nuclear Cardiology Board Prep 2026 — four sessions to the CBNC exam
The ASNC Nuclear Cardiology Board Prep 2026 is the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology’s self-study review for the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology exam, made available on 13 August 2026. Twenty pre-recorded lectures with audio versions and PDF slides are arranged in four sessions that follow the CBNC blueprint — physics and radiation safety, acquisition and quality control, stress protocols and interpretation, then PET, amyloid and multimodality imaging — each paired with a practice exam, 160+ questions in all.
- 20lectures
- 4board-prep sessions
- 160+practice questions
- Aug 2026release
What you’ll be able to do
- Explain nuclear physics, instrumentation and radiopharmaceuticals for the exam
- Apply radiation safety standards and manage radionuclides correctly
- Acquire, process and quality-control SPECT and gated SPECT and recognise artifacts
- Choose exercise or pharmacologic stress and respect the contraindications
- Interpret perfusion, MUGA, PET flow and metabolic viability studies
- Use nuclear imaging for amyloid and sarcoid and spot non-cardiac findings
Inside the prep
Session I: physics, instrumentation and radiation safety
Nuclear and imaging physics, cameras and detectors, radionuclide production and management, radiopharmaceuticals and safety practice — the domain many candidates find hardest.
Session II: acquisition, quality control and appropriate use
SPECT acquisition and processing, quality control, gated SPECT, artifact recognition, protocol selection and patient-centred appropriate use.
ASNC Nuclear Cardiology Board Prep 2026 session III
Test selection, exercise and pharmacologic stress, nuclear protocols, interpretation, MUGA and ventricular function, risk stratification and the non-cardiac findings on SPECT and PET/CT.
Session IV: PET, amyloid and cases
PET perfusion and blood-flow quantification, metabolic viability, sarcoid and amyloid imaging, multimodality imaging and expert SPECT and PET cases.
Built for
- CBNC candidatesA blueprint-ordered review with practice exams after every section.
- Nuclear cardiologists recertifyingA structured refresher of physics and interpretation.
- Cardiology, nuclear medicine and radiology fellowsA complete grounding in cardiac nuclear imaging.
Before you buy
Do the practice exams include answers?
No — the four interactive practice exams contain the questions only, without an answer key. Use them to test yourself, then check against the lectures.
Can I study without video?
Yes, each lecture comes with an audio version and PDF slides for offline revision.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
