Arterial ultrasound case studies in an interactive double-read format
This collection of arterial ultrasound case studies from Gulfcoast is designed to sharpen diagnostic and interpretive skills through real-world vascular pathology. Thirty-three cases are presented in a double-read format recorded during a live vascular case review program — patient history and physical examination come first, followed by the corresponding duplex and color flow documentation. The case mix spans arterial occlusive disease, fistulas, aneurysms, stent evaluation, and endovascular graft assessment.

Inside this resource
Arterial occlusive disease and fistula evaluation
The case set opens with arterial occlusive disease scenarios — from peripheral stenosis to complete thrombosis. Arteriovenous fistula and false aneurysm cases test the ability to distinguish normal from abnormal spectral and color Doppler findings across the arterial tree.
Aneurysm, stent, and endovascular graft assessment
Cases progress through aorto-iliac and ilio-femoral disease, arterial stent occlusion, and endovascular graft evaluation. Popliteal artery pathology, renal artery assessment, and arterial stent cases provide the breadth needed for comprehensive vascular lab preparation.
Specialized vascular pathologies
The final group addresses positional subclavian artery compression, median arcuate ligament compression, and renal medial fibromuscular dysplasia — less common findings that require pattern recognition and clinical judgment. Each case follows the double-read format with patient presentation paired to diagnostic imaging.
Who this serves
- Sonographers — practice interpreting complex arterial cases using the double-read format
- Vascular surgeons — reinforce diagnostic criteria across the full spectrum of arterial pathology
- Radiologists and cardiologists — sharpen pattern recognition for arterial duplex and color flow findings

Lynn C. –
The renal artery and stent occlusion cases filled gaps in my case experience. Would have liked a few more peripheral cases but the breadth is solid.
M. Alvarez –
Good pathology variety across the arterial spectrum. The median arcuate ligament and fibromuscular dysplasia cases were particularly educational.
Sarah K. –
Thirty-three cases in double-read format is exactly what I needed for vascular lab prep. The aorto-iliac and endovascular graft cases are standouts.
Elena V. –
Content is useful but some cases move quickly through the Doppler findings. Rewatching at my own pace was necessary. The double-read format is engaging.

At 466 MB this was a quick download. The fistula and false aneurysm cases test real pattern recognition — great for building confidence before registry exams.
