Inside the course
Principles and preparation
The opening lessons explain the rationale behind Bioclear, biofilm removal and preparation design, then apply David Clark’s Class 1 and Class 2 protocols and deep margin elevation to posterior teeth.
Matrices and injection molding
A lesson on matrix classification covers selecting posterior bands and the evolve matrix for subgingival margins, followed by the injection-molding technique with spot-weld contact points, finishing and polishing.
Anterior aesthetics
The final lesson turns to diastema and black-triangle closure, root overlay for abrasions and recessions, and injection-molding for the anterior with the HD matrix.
About the instructor
Maiolino graduated with honours from Perugia, is an active member of the Italian restorative dentistry society, and lectures internationally on restorative work and prosthodontics.
