Eight implant lectures on sinus grafting, bone biology, peri-implant disease and failing fixtures
Four implant clinicians — Arun Garg, Nigel Saynor, Hugo Grancho Pinto and Saj Jivraj — each contribute to Dental Implants MasterClass: Tipton Training, a set of eight lectures running close to nine hours. Topics span maxillary sinus augmentation, the biology behind osseointegration, the current periodontal and peri-implant classifications, graft-free treatment options, regeneration versus grafting, and what to do when an implant starts to fail.

What you’ll be able to do
- Plan sinus augmentation around the relevant anatomy and current materials
- Explain how bone physiology drives osseointegration
- Classify peri-implant and periodontal conditions with the updated frameworks
- Judge when graft-less implant solutions are realistic and when they are not
- Choose between regeneration and grafting for a deficient site
- Work through non-surgical and surgical retreatment of failing implants
Inside the course
The posterior maxilla
Two separate sinus lectures cover anatomical considerations, surgical protocols, material choices and today’s range of grafting modalities for implant placement under the sinus floor.
Biology and diagnosis
A session on bone biology lays the groundwork, followed by lectures on diagnosing peri-implant disease and on the newer periodontal classification as it affects implant planning.
Alternatives, choices and rescue
The remaining lectures question common myths about avoiding grafts, compare regenerative and grafting approaches, and describe criteria and options for managing implants in trouble.
The speakers
Garg taught surgery and directed residency training at the University of Miami for more than two decades. Saynor heads a specialist practice near Manchester, Grancho Pinto is a UK-registered periodontist, and Jivraj is a prosthodontist at USC and co-author of a treatment-planning text on implants.
Built for
- Dentists early in implant practiceA broad survey of the surgical and biological topics behind predictable results.
- PeriodontistsClassification updates and peri-implant diagnosis tied to implant care.
- Implant surgeons considering sinus workTwo perspectives on augmentation techniques and materials.

Before you buy
Is this a structured course or a collection of talks?
It is a collection of eight standalone lectures by different speakers, so the sequence is thematic rather than a single step-by-step programme.
Which speaker gives which lecture?
Individual lectures are not attributed to a named speaker in the course outline.
