The immediate route
Francesco Mintrone reviews literature and cases and demonstrates socket shield; clinical videos follow immediate replacement of a failing central incisor, and Egon Euwe discusses single-tooth post-extraction cases in the esthetic zone.
The delayed route
Daniel Buser explains when to place immediately, early or late, and shows early placement with simultaneous contour augmentation. A full diagnosis-to-restoration case by Jovanovic and Mintrone completes the section.
