Bone and soft tissue augmentation, Khoury-style — decision criteria, digital planning and flap management in 10 lessons
Padua periodontology professor Luca De Stavola presents Hard and Soft tissue Augmentation, a 14-hour course of ten lessons across three modules. Trained under Fouad Khoury, he examines the decision criteria and biology behind predictable bone regeneration, a computer-guided approach to harvesting and planning, and the soft-tissue management that secures primary wound healing.

What you’ll be able to do
- Apply clear decision criteria for bone augmentation
- Manage macro-stability and strain to improve predictability
- Plan grafts with a computer-guided workflow and harvesting
- Perform the Khoury technique with digital planning tools
- Design and passivate flaps for tension-free closure
- Achieve primary wound healing for a stable regenerative result
Inside the course
Key factors in bone augmentation
The first module analyses decision criteria and the biological and surgical factors that shape outcomes, showing how to reach predictable primary healing and high implant stability.
A digital approach to regeneration
The second module covers computer-guided harvesting and graft planning, with numerous surgical clips and a step-by-step explanation of the Safecut planning software applied to the Khoury technique.
Soft tissue management
The final module is devoted to flap design, passivation and tissue protection over the wound, ending with a re-live surgery that ties the concepts together.
About the instructor
De Stavola is a visiting professor of periodontology at Padua, trained in oral surgery under Khoury in Germany, and an active member of the Italian and European osseointegration academies.

Before you buy
Is this based on a particular technique?
Yes. It centres on Khoury’s approach to bone harvesting and regeneration, updated with digital planning through the Safecut software.
Does it include live surgery?
The final module ends with a re-live surgery and shows many surgical clips throughout the digital-planning lessons.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
