Harvard Boston 3D Echo Workshop 2025 — three days of 3D physics, valve quantification and structural-procedure guidance
Led by Feroze Mahmood, the Harvard Boston 3D Echo Workshop 2025 recorded the live-streamed programme of 15–17 August 2025, roughly 26 hours of teaching. It climbs from ultrasound physics, knobology and multiplanar reformatting to 3D quantification of tricuspid, aortic and mitral lesions and the right ventricle, then to imaging workflows for TEER, TriClip, LAA occlusion, septal defect and paravalvular leak closure.
- ~26hours of video
- 52agenda sessions
- 3teaching days
- 2025workshop
What you’ll be able to do
- Relate frame rate, line density, sector size and resolution to the quality of a 3D dataset
- Acquire, optimise and crop volumes, then navigate them with multiplanar reformatting
- Quantify TR, TS, AS, AR and MR in 3D and assess valves after repair or replacement
- Measure RV volumes and function with practical 3D techniques
- Guide transseptal puncture, mitral and tricuspid TEER and occluder deployment with 3D TEE
- Translate controls and nomenclature between Philips, GE and Siemens systems
Inside the workshop
Day 1 — 3D Echo physics and image handling
Talks on reconstructive imaging, transducer design and 3D terminology precede sessions on temporal and spatial resolution, colour Doppler tips and MPR case work. The afternoon workshop covers acquisition and optimisation, live MPRs, automated valve analysis and a vendor-by-vendor systems overview.
Day 2 — valves and ventricles
Tricuspid assessment and post-intervention imaging open the day, followed by RV quantification, aortic stenosis and regurgitation mechanisms, AV repair and a full mitral sequence ending in pre-TEER planning. A hands-on advanced valve analysis workshop closes the day.
Day 3 — structural interventions
The final morning focuses on procedural guidance: transseptal anatomy, MV TEER workflow and follow-up, TriClip planning, TV TEER, and 3D imaging for left atrial appendage, ASD/VSD and paravalvular leak closure.
Cases and panels throughout
Nearly every block ends with challenging case presentations and panel Q&A, so measurements are always shown on real datasets.

Before you buy
Can I take part in the hands-on workshops?
No. You get the recordings of the workshop demonstrations, not machine time; practising the techniques needs access to your own 3D-capable system.
What file formats and size should I expect?
Only the running time of about 26 hours is specified; file count, size and any slide PDFs are not confirmed.
Is there a newer edition?
Yes, the 2026 workshop is sold separately as MS-35553.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
