Endodontist and University of Illinois professor Brett E. Gilbert built King Endodontics Course – Access Endo as a complete clinical programme in short, focused videos. What you’ll be able to do
- Predict canal configuration from tooth-specific pulp anatomy, maxillary and mandibular
- Reach a defensible pulpal and periapical diagnosis with cold and other tests
- Read a cone beam scan to find lateral canals and hidden perforations
- Locate MB2 and middle mesial canals using the laws of symmetry
- Compare activated irrigation systems: ultrasonic, negative pressure, laser and multisonic
- Finish with warm vertical obturation and manage post-operative pain and antibiotics
Inside the course
Foundations and diagnosis
After a short introduction on productivity and value, the course reviews endodontic history and tooth-by-tooth anatomy, then works through testing, cracked teeth, nomenclature, endo-perio lesions and radiology with several CBCT case examples.
The clinical sequence
Case selection, consent (a sample form is included as a PDF) and risk management come before isolation for anterior, premolar and molar teeth, access design, apex locators, files and simulated instrumentation, irrigation accidents and vapour lock, obturation and restoring the access cavity.
Trauma and real patients
Concussion, luxation injuries, root fracture and avulsion each get their own clip. The live-case section follows one molar from chamber access to case close in 16 steps, plus two further cases in two parts each.

About 13 hours of guest talks deal with stress, emotional wellness, mindset, mentorship, suicide prevention and body care, finishing with yoga sessions designed for dentists.
