Crestal and lateral sinus lifts on benchtop models — a short-video starter course from Implant Ninja
Prosthodontist Ivan Chicchon (Implant Ninja) and oral surgeon Matthew Krieger demonstrate both approaches side by side in Ninja Sinus Lift, with case reviews from implantologist Steve Vorholt. The 49 bite-size videos, 3 h 20 min in eight modules, cover instruments and materials, CBCT planning with example patients, indirect and direct lifts on models, post-op care and a full set of complications.

What you’ll be able to do
- Assemble the armamentarium, graft, membrane, PRF and sutures for crestal and lateral lifts
- Screen for absolute and relative contraindications and read the CBCT criteria
- Plan a lift on CBCT for three example patients
- Design the flap, locate the site and elevate the membrane on benchtop models
- Manage perforations of under 3 mm, 3–5 mm and large tears
- Recognise infection, OAC, infraorbital nerve injury and septa and respond
Inside the course
Tools and planning
After a quick welcome, the materials lessons explain bone graft choice and supporting products, then the longest module (1 h 18 min) reviews anatomy, contraindications, the questions to ask on referral, CBCT measurements and whiteboard sketches of each technique.
Benchtop surgery, two ways
For the indirect lift, Chicchon and Krieger each show flap design, where to drill, membrane elevation and graft placement, so you can compare styles. The direct lift module follows the window technique from flap through closure.
After the surgery
Four brief clips cover healing, medication and patient instructions, and eleven lessons tackle complications, including three perforation scenarios reproduced on models and problems involving adjacent teeth and the osteomeatal complex.

Before you buy
Is any of it filmed on patients?
The surgical steps are demonstrated on benchtop models; patient material comes through CBCT planning examples and case reviews.
Why are there “sample” videos in the list?
Two items are preview clips that repeat parts of neighbouring lessons, so the unique content is slightly less than 49 videos.
How detailed can 3 h 20 min be?
It is a concise introduction; most clips run a few minutes, so expect essentials rather than in-depth lectures.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
