Exocad design from first order to bars and splints — 13 hours with a working CAD technician
In Online School “Exocad from A to Z”, Romanian CAD-CAM designer Tudor Todea takes you through eight lessons and about 13 hours of screen-based design work. The range runs from software setup and order creation to crowns, bridges, veneers, telescopic work, custom abutments, bars, smile design from a photo and occlusal splints in the virtual articulator.

What you’ll be able to do
- Configure Exocad, create orders correctly and export files for printing or milling
- Design anatomical crowns, copings, inlays, onlays and bridges on natural teeth
- Build telescopic crowns and overstructures reduced from an anatomic wax-up
- Create hybrid and premilled abutments with a controlled emergence profile
- Produce a photo-based smile design with the TruSmile module and bite splints with articulator movements
Inside the course
Getting the software under control
The opening lesson reviews Exocad’s modules and compatibility with other programs, then shows how to place an order, import STL files in expert mode and use the virtual articulator — the base for everything that follows.
Tooth-borne restorations
Two lessons cover single units, press-over-zirconia crowns, pontics, reduced-crown frameworks and a four-unit anterior bridge, plus veneers and frames derived from wax models.
Implant superstructures
Loading implant libraries, cement gaps, mesh alignment and acrylic retention space lead into telescopic work, one-step hybrid abutments with crowns, and bar design with attachments and overstructures.

Before you buy
Do I need my own Exocad licence to follow along?
The course teaches the software rather than supplying it, so you need access to Exocad and the relevant modules to practise.
Is it too advanced for a newcomer to Exocad?
It is aimed at both junior and experienced users and starts with the interface and order setup before moving to complex designs.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
