Face-driven self-ligation the Pitts way — Peter Csiki on H4 and Pitts21 brackets, smile arc protection and early light elastics
Budapest and Milan orthodontist Peter Csiki, a long-time passive self-ligation speaker, explains Dr. Thomas Pitts’ philosophy in Pitts Aesthetic Driven Protocols from A to Z. Six lessons totalling 9 h 33 min cover aesthetic diagnosis, H4 and Pitts21 prescriptions, torque selection and bracket placement, disarticulation and elastics, the Active Early concept with retention, and finishing steps such as recontouring, IPR and laser gingival shaping.

What you’ll be able to do
- Plan from the face inward using macro-, mini- and microaesthetics and the 14 Pitts elements
- Pick between H4 and Pitts21 brackets and follow their archwire sequences

Inside the course
Aesthetic diagnosis
Csiki sets out face-driven planning, 3D diagnostics with the RGB system and a detailed cephalometric protocol, then shows an H4 case and a deep bite correction.
Brackets, prescriptions and torque
Two lessons compare the H4, Pitts21 and Clear21 systems, their prescriptions and wire sequences, and teach bracket positioning for deep and open bites, including flipping and flocking brackets. Cases include a teenager, a severe Class II protrusion and a surgery-versus-H4 decision.
Mechanics and finishing
Pitts arch forms, wide versus standard arches, when to disarticulate and practical elastic tips lead into the Active Early concept, pano-repo adjustment appointments, retention appliances and a muscular training splint, illustrated by a skeletal open bite.
Auxiliary procedures and digital tools
The final lesson covers tooth recontouring, interproximal reduction and its instruments, laser gingival contouring, age-related errors and digital smile design, with extraction and orthognathic comparisons.
Built for

Before you buy
Is Dr. Thomas Pitts himself teaching?
No. The lectures are given by Peter Csiki, who follows and teaches the Pitts approach.
Is the method useful without H4 or Pitts21 brackets?
The aesthetic planning and finishing ideas transfer, but prescriptions, torque and wire sequences are specific to those bracket systems.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
