Every route into the maxillary sinus — lateral window, transcrestal, osteotome, Intralift and Sinus Pack from five surgeons
Five implant surgeons from Brazil, Italy, Hungary, Austria and Portugal compare their sinus augmentation methods in Sinus Lift: Updated Classic & The Latest Author’s Protocols. Mauro Gebran, Pier Carmine Passarelli, Laszlo Parkanyi, Angelo Troedhan and Francisco Correia cover open and closed, one- and two-stage, piezo and hydrodynamic techniques in nine lessons lasting 7 hours 30 minutes, with attention to instruments, graft materials, PRF and hyaluronic acid.

What you’ll be able to do
- Assess the sinus on CBCT and decide whether a thickened membrane should be elevated or treated first
- Pick between lateral window and transcrestal access, or short implants, with a decision tree
- Design and position the antrostomy, using burs or piezo, to limit perforation
- Stabilise graft after a tear with the Sinus Pack technique
- Prepare L-PRF, I-PRF and sticky bone for sinus grafting
- Prevent and manage complications from bleeding and sinusitis to displaced implants
Inside the course
Safety rules and decision making
Anatomy, presurgical evaluation, membrane pathology and ideal biomaterials are set out first. A literature review then compares graft types, shrinkage, newly formed bone and implant survival for open versus closed approaches.
Lateral window surgery in depth
Lessons on the open approach deal with perforation rates, piezo advantages, membrane versus bony windows, onlay and inlay grafting, donor sites, bovine and synthetic bone, collagen membranes and medication before and after surgery. The longest lesson organises the whole procedure, from endocarditis prophylaxis and biopsy to post-operative instructions.
Minimally invasive alternatives
Troedhan’s hydrodynamic ultrasonic Intralift, the osteotome transalveolar technique with its indications and limits, and a low-window Sinus Pack method for large perforations show how to lift the floor with less trauma.

Before you buy
Is the course suitable if I have never lifted a sinus?
The early lessons explain anatomy, evaluation and decision making from scratch, but lessons average under an hour, so plan hands-on training before operating.
Do the lecturers agree on one method?
No. Each presents their own preferred protocol, which is useful for comparison but means some overlap on anatomy and planning.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
