Peri-implant soft tissue grafting at every stage — Ehab Moussa’s 24-lesson course on flaps, FGG, CTG and tunnelling
Periodontist Ehab Moussa, trained at Case Western Reserve University and Louisiana State University, built Soft Tissue Management for Implants, The Complete Course around one question: what to graft, and when. Over 8 h 35 min and 24 lessons, plus two PDFs, he moves from anatomy, evidence and classification through suturing and a full catalogue of flap and graft techniques to deficiencies handled before, during and after implant treatment.

What you’ll be able to do
- Classify quantitative and qualitative soft tissue deficiencies around implants
- Pick the right timing for grafting: before placement, simultaneous, at uncovery or after restoration
- Suture for tension-free closure and stable graft immobilisation
- Gain keratinised tissue with an apically positioned flap, vestibuloplasty or free gingival graft
- Harvest and place a connective tissue graft, open or through a tunnel
- Prevent and manage necrosis, dehiscence and graft failure
Inside the course
Groundwork
Short opening lessons define keratinised versus lining mucosa, biotype and the mucogingival junction, summarise the key literature and set out a systematic way to measure tissue quantity, quality and contour. Instruments and a 34-minute suturing lesson complete the preparation.
The technique catalogue
Each procedure gets its own video: apically positioned flap, vestibuloplasty, palatal FGG harvest, rotated palatal pedicle, roll flap and its modified version, connective tissue graft harvest from different palatal zones, and subperiosteal tunnelling.
Matching the fix to the implant stage
Four lessons apply these tools to volume problems before placement, alongside the fixture, at second-stage surgery and after the crown is in. Two longer lessons then deal with thin tissue and missing keratinised mucosa.
Aesthetic zone and troubleshooting
Anterior modifications focus on natural contours next to adjacent teeth, and a complications lesson covers bleeding, infection, flap necrosis and aesthetic shortfalls before a brief wrap-up.
Built for
- Implant surgeonsA stage-by-stage decision map for the soft tissue side of every case.
- PeriodontistsA compact reference of peri-implant flap and graft variations in one place.
- Restorative dentists placing implantsClarity on when thin or mobile mucosa needs surgical help.

Before you buy
Are some lessons very short?
Yes. Several run under 15 minutes, and the timing lesson lasts 4; the longest, on qualitative deficiencies, is 58 minutes.
Does it teach bone grafting as well?
No. The content is limited to soft tissue: flaps, free and connective tissue grafts, and their timing around implants.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
