The Osler Clinical Pathology 2026 review — 35 laboratory medicine lectures and about 42 hours of CP board preparation
The Osler Clinical Pathology 2026 Subscription-Based Review is the laboratory medicine side of the Osler Institute’s April 2026 pathology course, released on 10 June 2026 with subtitle files and a downloadable syllabus. Eleven faculty cover chemistry, haematology, coagulation, immunology, molecular and cytogenetics, and the full sweep of microbiology, with review questions built into the lectures. Transfusion medicine is the standout: Richard Gammon teaches six consecutive blood bank sessions organised around questions.

What you’ll be able to do
- Read patterns in laboratory results and suggest the next test that pins down cause and prognosis
- Advise clinicians on transfusion indications, reactions and paediatric dosing calculations
- Interpret acid–base, electrolyte, endocrine and liver enzyme panels with confidence
- Work through bacteriology, mycology, virology and parasitology identification
- Bring molecular and cytogenetic testing into routine laboratory decisions
- Handle QC statistics, specimen safety and lab management questions on the CP exam
Inside the review
Chemistry with Dufour and Winter
Robert Dufour covers instrumentation, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, gonadal and mineral disorders, enzymes, acid–base and tumour markers; William Winter adds statistics, toxicology and TDM, diabetes, renal function, lipids and proteins.
Blood bank in six parts
From antigens and blood groups through donation, component therapy, reactions and administration to neonatal transfusion maths, the transfusion block mirrors the order of the exam outline.
Osler Clinical Pathology haematology and immunology
Michael Kallen handles lymph node, white and red cells; John Schmieg teaches two coagulation parts; Caleb Cornaby explains immunity, immunodeficiency, autoimmunity and flow cytometry.
Microbiology and genetics
Margie Morgan leads virology, mycobacteria, fungi, two bacteriology parts and susceptibility testing, Rifat Mannan teaches parasitology, and Carolyn Jones and Madina Sukhanova cover molecular pathology and cytogenetics.

Before you buy
The title says “subscription” — is that what I am buying?
No. Osler streams this review from the cloud as a subscription, but Clinicapedia supplies it as downloadable files (videos, VTT subtitles and the PDF syllabus) with no Osler account or recurring access.
Are Osler’s online practice questions included?
The questions embedded in the lectures are part of the videos; Osler’s separate online multiple-choice platform is not part of a file download.
Does it overlap with other Osler 2026 pathology products?
Yes. It comes from the same April 2026 week as the full virtual review (MS-33249), and ten topics, including Cipriani’s head and neck, bone and soft tissue talks, also appear in the Anatomic Pathology 2026 review (MS-35487).
How big is the Osler CP download?
The number of video files and total size are not stated; only the roughly 42-hour study time is given.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
