Inside the course
Planning and principles
A 45-minute theory lesson sets out indications, biological width and treatment planning, followed by a session on flap design, suture choice and tissue handling around natural teeth and implants.
Two surgical days
The clinical lessons move from case assessment and incision design on day one to contouring, precision surgery and post-operative care on day two, the longest lesson at over an hour and a half.

A graduate of the Federal University of Paraná, Kern concentrates on soft tissue design and reconstruction and on immediate implants with temporisation, from single teeth to full arches.
