Clear aligners plus TADs and MARPE — five speakers on open bite, deep bite, Class II, Class III and impacted canines
Five aligner specialists from Spain, Portugal and Italy teach Aligners and Microimplants in One Protocol, a 7 h 53 min programme on adding skeletal anchorage to clear aligner therapy. Javier Lozano, Teresa Sobral Costa, Lorenzo Bartolommei, Pedro Dominguez and Luis Barbero cover biomechanics, ClinCheck planning, IZC, buccal shelf and palatal screw placement, and MARPE expansion, all tied to documented cases.

What you’ll be able to do
- Plan anterior and posterior intrusion or extrusion with overcorrection and attachment design
- Run sequential distalisation anchored on IZC or buccal shelf miniscrews
- Choose between expansion, elastics, extraction or mandibular advancement for adult Class II
- Extrude palatally impacted canines with a TAD-supported cantilever
- Combine MARPE with aligners, from CBCT planning and 3D design to activation
Inside the course
Vertical problems solved with trays and screws
The first lesson sets out how predictable aligner movements really are, then works through open bite and deep bite corrections, curve of Spee levelling and molar extrusion for posterior open bite, with and without skeletal anchorage.
Difficult cases made manageable
Full walkthroughs follow a Class III open bite distalised on buccal shelf screws and a full-cusp Class II deep bite treated on IZC screws, from diagnosis and ClinCheck to final records. Screw placement is filmed step by step, and a multidisciplinary case shows mass intrusion of upper posteriors.
Biomechanics and growth timing
First-appointment diagnosis, the cervical vertebral maturation method for predicting the mandibular spurt, rotated teeth and hybrid set-ups with expanders or TADs are explained with case material.
Class II in adults and MARPE
A 2 h 22 min lesson compares treatment routes for non-growing Class II patients, including division 2, unilateral Class II and lateral deviation. The final session covers bicortical versus conventional screws, patient selection, digital MARPE design, activation and complications.

Before you buy
Is it tied to one aligner brand?
Several instructors are Invisalign speakers and planning is shown in ClinCheck, though the anchorage principles carry over to other systems.
Will I see miniscrews actually being inserted?
Yes. Buccal shelf and IZC placements are shown on video, and the MARPE lesson includes a stepwise insertion protocol.
Do the five lessons repeat each other?
Each speaker teaches separately, so topics such as the curve of Spee and impacted canines come up in more than one lesson from different angles.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
