Full-arch implant bridges that look like natural teeth: the FP1 perio-prosthetic workflow with photogrammetry
Miguel Mendes de Oliveira and Emanuele Clozza show how to reach an FP1 result — a fixed full-arch prosthesis that replaces crowns only, with no pink ceramic — in FP1 Approach Complete Protocols for Full-Mouth Fixed Prostheses. Four lessons in 2 h 51 min cover reverse planning, peri-implant biology, immediate implants, soft tissue grafting, socket shield, emergence profiles, provisionals, photogrammetry and the choice of PMMA or zirconia.

What you’ll be able to do
- Define an FP1 case and plan it in reverse from the prosthesis
- Respect the peri-implant complex and biologic width during placement
- Decide when immediate implants, socket shield or partial extraction therapy fit
- Graft soft tissue at implant and pontic sites and shape emergence profiles
- Capture full arches accurately with photogrammetry and face scanning
- Compare titanium-reinforced PMMA with monolithic zirconia for the final bridge
Inside the course
Planning and tissue biology
The first lesson introduces the FP1 concept, prosthetically guided surgery and the peri-implant soft tissue seal, illustrated with a worked case.
The perio-prosthetic side
Lesson two concentrates on esthetics: timing of immediate placement, connective tissue grafting under pontics and around fixtures, tissue-preserving extraction approaches and provisional restorations that guide healing.
Digital full-arch capture
The final pair of lessons trace how FP1 restorations have developed, why intraoral scanning struggles across an entire arch, and how photogrammetry and digital jaw-relation transfer solve it. They add hard and soft tissue grafting, guided surgery, face scans and 3D-printed provisionals.
The presenters
Oliveira lectures internationally on guided surgery and perio-prosthetic implant dentistry and advises DIO on digital workflow. Clozza qualified in Trieste and completed periodontics training at NYU; his practice is limited to periodontology and implants.
Built for
- Full-arch implant cliniciansAn alternative to hybrid prostheses when bone and tissue allow.
- Periodontists in implant teamsGrafting and tissue-management steps specific to FP1.
- Digitally equipped practicesHow photogrammetry fits the complete-arch workflow.

Before you buy
Is FP1 suitable for every edentulous patient?
No. The approach depends on having enough bone and soft tissue, which is why grafting and site preservation feature heavily.
Do I need a photogrammetry system to benefit?
Half the course is planning and tissue management that applies regardless; the photogrammetry lessons show what the technology adds.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
