Implant restoration from components to full-arch — impression copings, verification jigs, denture conversion and CPR planning
Ricardo Mitrani, Darin Dichter, Steve Ratcliff and three colleagues split Mastering Full Arch Implant Dentistry: A Digital-to-Delivery Approach into nine short modules: 32 lessons in 5 h 53 min. The path runs from implant and abutment types through open- and closed-tray impressions for bone- and tissue-level fixtures, verification jigs and edentulous occlusion to immediate denture conversion, fixed full-arch fabrication, scanning, the orthodontic–implant interface and risk-based planning.

What you’ll be able to do
- Identify implant, abutment and impression components and when each is used
- Choose between open- and closed-tray copings for bone-level and tissue-level implants
- Fabricate a verification jig to confirm the fit of multi-unit work
- Convert a denture to an immediate provisional chairside or in the lab
- Plan cases with the Contingency–Priority–Risk (CPR) protocol
Inside the course
Parts and impressions
The first two modules are a component primer, then nine lessons comparing fixture-level transfer methods for both implant designs, including an update on tissue-level closed-tray copings. Three brief lessons on jigs cover indications, impression and fabrication.
The edentulous arch
An 80-minute module on occlusal concepts for full-arch restorations anchors the programme. It is followed by lab and chairside conversion protocols, a review of loading literature, arch assessment and classification, and fixed prosthesis fabrication.
Digital, orthodontic and planning perspectives
Mark Fleming introduces scanning, practice technology and indirect materials; Donna Stenberg explains when to close edentulous spaces, anchorage and Class II and III issues; the last module applies CPR to a full clinical case.
Built for
- Restorative dentists new to implantsA clear map of components and impression options before the first case.
- Prosthodontists and interdisciplinary teamsShared language on occlusion, loading and ortho–implant decisions.
