Lower-Face Aesthetics: neuromodulation, chin and jawline contouring in about half an hour
OHI-S Lower-Face Aesthetics: Neuromodulation, Chin & Jawline Contouring offers a short video module on the lower third of the face, from measuring asymmetry to deciding between toxin, filler or both. Across three lessons and roughly 31 minutes it moves from proportion and gender profiling, through the masseter, DAO, mentalis and facial artery, to hyaluronic acid work on the chin and mandibular line.

What you’ll be able to do
- Run a structured lower-third assessment, including quantitative review of mandibular asymmetry
- Contrast feminine and masculine chin and jaw characteristics and use the Golden Ratio critically
- Map the facial artery and anatomical risk zones before placing a needle or cannula
- Plan BoNT-A treatment of the masseter, depressor anguli oris and mentalis
- Build a chin augmentation and jawline filler plan around projection and facial balance
- Sequence toxin plus HA filler combinations and discuss limits and complications with patients
Inside the course
Reading the lower third
Lesson one defines symmetry and its common causes, sets out proportion principles and compares male and female framing of the chin and mandible.
Anatomy that shapes neuromodulation
Lesson two walks through the neurovascular course and depth in the region and the depressor and masticatory muscles, then shows where botulinum toxin can rebalance muscle pull or slim the jaw and when filler or a combination is the better tool.
Chin and jawline contouring with filler
The closing lesson covers chin projection angles, targeted placement along the jawline, step-by-step combination planning, before-and-after case review and prevention and management of filler complications.
Built for
- Dentists working in facial aestheticsA lower-face anatomy and planning refresher that builds on daily knowledge of the masseter and mandible.
- Maxillofacial surgeonsA non-surgical perspective on contouring that complements orthognathic and implant work.
- Dermatologists, plastic surgeons and aesthetic physiciansA focused review of one facial region rather than a full-face course.

Before you buy
Is this enough to start injecting?
No. It is a 31-minute theory and planning module; hands-on supervised training and local rules on who may inject toxin and filler still apply.
Is the perioral region covered?
Only the DAO and mentalis. Lips and the perioral area are the subject of a separate OHI-S course (MS-37272).
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
