Dental lasers across four disciplines: soft-tissue surgery, orthodontics, endodontics and caries care in 15 lessons
Six laser clinicians — Robert A. Convissar, John Graeber, Grace Sun, Kenneth Luk, Manaf Taher Agha and Justin Kolnick — share wavelength choices, settings and step-by-step protocols in Online Congress Laser Therapy in Dentistry. Over 15 h 10 min the programme runs from laser–tissue physics through gingival aesthetics, depigmentation, periodontitis and tongue-tie release to photobiomodulation in orthodontics, laser-assisted root canal therapy and fluorescence-based caries detection.

What you’ll be able to do
- Match wavelength, power and pulse settings to the target tissue and the result you want
- Perform laser gingivectomy, gingivoplasty and crown lengthening for pink aesthetics
- Remove gingival hyperpigmentation, including near the papilla of the central incisors
- Release tongue-ties and labial frena in children using the PEEL technique
- Use photobiomodulation to support tooth movement and patient comfort in orthodontics
- Add erbium-laser disinfection to root canal treatment and retreatment
Inside the course
Physics first
The opening lesson explains absorption, scattering, selective photothermolysis and how parameters change ablation, coagulation or biostimulation — the basis for every protocol that follows.
Periodontal and soft-tissue work
Gingival contouring and crown lengthening with clinical video, a periodontitis workflow with evidence review, high-speed diode and blue-laser depigmentation, and 445 nm blue-laser frenectomy, gingivectomy and lesion treatment.
Orthodontic applications
Four lessons address soft-tissue management, frenuloplasty with myofunctional therapy, exposure of impacted canines, gingival finishing after braces, and low-level laser therapy for accelerated movement and relief of irritation or muscle spasm.
Endodontics and minimally invasive restoration
Cavitation and radial apical cleansing with erbium lasers, management of resorption, perforations and separated files, single-visit considerations, then QLF, DIFOTI, infrared imaging and caries infiltration for microinvasive care.
Built for
- Dentists who already own a laserConcrete settings and sequences to use it for more than occasional soft-tissue cuts.
- Clinicians considering a laser purchaseA realistic view of indications across periodontics, orthodontics and endodontics.
- Orthodontists and periodontistsDedicated lessons on frenectomy, exposure, finishing and photobiomodulation.

Before you buy
Which laser types are covered?
Diode lasers (including 445 nm blue), erbium lasers for endodontics and low-level therapeutic lasers; lessons compare wavelengths rather than teaching one brand of device.
Is there overlap between lessons?
Yes. It is a multi-speaker congress, so laser basics and gingival contouring are introduced by more than one lecturer from different angles.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
