Composite layering, tooth anatomy, veneers and occlusion — an 11-course restorative library with 157 hours of teaching
Restorations: Layering Technique and Anatomy gathers eleven separate restorative programmes into one package of 96 lessons. Contributors include Didier Dietschi, David Alleman, Junji Tagami, Simone Deliperi, Edward McLaren, Bora Korkut, Jason Smithson, Federico Ferraris, and occlusion teachers Jaz Gulati and Mahmoud Ibrahim. The range runs from direct anterior and posterior composites through biomimetic protocols and erosion management to laminate veneers, smile design and everyday occlusion.

What you’ll be able to do
- Build composite veneers with matrix-guided, free-hand, injection, mono- and polychromatic methods
- Apply biomimetic, stress-reduced protocols including deep margin elevation and wallpapering
- Manage erosive tooth wear with an additive, interceptive approach
- Check and adjust occlusion using articulating paper, shimstock and a leaf gauge
- Plan and deliver laminate veneers from diagnosis to cementation and photography
- Draft a quick smile design in Photoshop using layers, masks and warp tools
Inside the course
Direct composite from several schools
Japanese, European and South American approaches are compared side by side: adhesive protocols, hyperchromatic layering for anterior and posterior teeth, and anterior stratification. Bora Korkut adds a focused guide to isolation, crown fracture repair, diastema closure and full composite veneers.
Biomimetics and bio-esthetic additive work
Alleman, Tagami and Deliperi explain how to restore badly broken teeth while keeping stress low. Didier Dietschi presents his conservative, staged concept for erosion and friction wear, including his Natural Layering Concept.
Occlusion without expensive gadgets
The longest single component, at almost 34 hours, is Occlusion: Basics & Beyond. Gulati and Ibrahim keep the topic practical, relying on simple chairside tools rather than specialised equipment.
Esthetic planning and veneers
Edward McLaren’s online residency covers artistic principles, esthetic analysis, smile design and treatment planning over almost 35 hours, alongside a shorter laminate veneer course with a live demonstration.
