Porcelain veneers from mock-up to bonding — Fradeani and Bacherini film one full case, step by step
Over 18 lessons and 16 h 34 min, Esthetic rehabilitation with ceramic veneers pairs Mauro Fradeani and Leonardo Bacherini to take a single anterior case from facial analysis through preparation, provisionals, the biscuit try-in and final cementation. Eight theory lectures set the rules; six recorded clinical sessions show them applied; four case discussions close the masterclass. A recurring theme is preparation without anaesthesia and the details that keep veneers from debonding or fracturing.

What you’ll be able to do
- Collect facial and dento-labial data — midline, smile line, labial corridor — before planning veneers
- Decide when no-prep, moderate-prep or full-veneer designs suit the tooth and the occlusion
- Fabricate, reline and polish direct and indirect provisionals in bis-acryl resin
- Select ceramic ingots and die material to control colour, even over dark abutments
- Run a complete adhesive cementation protocol with occlusal check
Inside the course
Planning and preparation theory
Fradeani covers indications and limits — shape change, discoloration, crown fractures, worn dentitions, old composites — while Bacherini explains how to keep tooth removal minimal, protect the pulp and the periodontium, and adapt preparation design when worn teeth need an occlusal change.
Materials, impressions and bonding
Lectures on provisionals, traditional versus custom trays and digital impressions, ceramic choice with Natural Die Material shade sampling, and adhesive systems, cements and curing lights. A closing lecture reviews veneer cases followed for more than 30 years.
The ReLIVE clinical footage
Six sessions record one patient: operative mock-up and try-on masks, stepwise preparation and impression, provisional by direct and indirect technique, the biscuit bake check of margins, thickness and shade, and cementation to the final result.
The instructors
Fradeani is a past president of the EAED and AIOP and a former visiting associate professor at LSU; Bacherini, a dentist trained first as a technician, practises prosthodontics and implants in Florence and tutors at Fradeani’s ACE Institute.
Built for
- Restorative dentists moving into veneersA single case followed end to end makes the sequence easy to copy.
- Prosthodontists refining minimal prepPreparation logic for worn and intact teeth is argued in detail.
- Clinicians working closely with a ceramistShade communication and biscuit checks show where lab errors are caught.

Before you buy
How much of the runtime is live-patient footage versus lecture?
Roughly half: six filmed sessions on one patient run about 6 h 15 min, alongside eight lectures and four recorded Q&A discussions.
Are the four discussion sessions new teaching?
They are recorded interactive meetings from different editions, including 2022, where the authors review cases and answer questions, so some themes recur.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
