Edentulous implant treatment from both chairs — All-on-4, locator overdentures, guided surgery and zygomatic planning
Nine surgeons and prosthodontists, including Saj Jivraj, Armand Bedrossian, Alexandre-Amir Aalam, Mamaly Reshad and Christopher Marchack, share the stage in gIDE – Edentulous Patient Implant Placement and Restoration. Across 13 lectures and nearly ten hours, they take the fully edentulous patient from prosthesis-first planning to immediate loading, overdenture records, CAD/CAM guides and long-term maintenance.

What you’ll be able to do
- Choose between fixed and removable options using lip support, smile and transition lines, and interarch space
- Plan graftless All-on-4 treatment with tilted implants and good anterior–posterior spread
- Deliver an immediate-load provisional the same day and design the definitive framework
- Convert an existing denture to a locator-retained overdenture, including single-implant partial support
- Record jaw relations and vertical dimension with a Gothic arch tracer
- Use 3D planning and guided surgery to place implants where the restoration needs them
Inside the course
Planning from the teeth backwards
The opening talks divide the maxilla into zones, weigh composite defects and explain how posterior support, site development and space management decide the outcome of full-arch work.
The All-on-4 sequence in four parts
Diagnosis and loading biology, surgical principles for angled implants, two patient cases filmed from assessment to same-day teeth, then definitive prosthesis design, passive fit, complications and recalls.
Overdentures done properly
Three lectures cover chairside denture conversion, a three-step implant-level impression with border moulding, and centric relation records for palateless designs.
Guided surgery and extreme atrophy
A restorative view of CAD/CAM templates and flapless placement, a review of every edentulous option from conventional dentures to fixed complete prostheses, and a short zygomatic planning case.

Is this a hands-on zygomatic course?
No. Zygomatic implants appear in one eight-minute planning lecture; the course centres on conventional full-arch and overdenture treatment.
Are the lectures by one presenter?
No. Each lecture comes from a different faculty member, so presenting style and depth vary from talk to talk.
