From single tooth to full-mouth rehab on natural teeth — planning, adhesion and the soft tissue interface with nine clinicians
Recorded as a gIDE web programme, Gidedental Prosthetic Rehabilitation on Natural Teeth runs 16 h 40 min over 22 lessons. Giacomo Fabbri and Francesco Mintrone lead it, alongside Galip Gürel, Didier Dietschi, Eric Van Dooren, Noboru Takahashi, Stefan Paul, Oswaldo Scopin and Monik Vasant, and three themed parts deal with treatment design, enamel-preserving adhesive work and esthetics where restoration meets gingiva.

What you’ll be able to do
- Build a restorative treatment plan that balances esthetics and function for simple to complex cases
- Weigh traditional against digital workflows in prosthetic dentistry
- Use a snap-on mock-up to preview the final outline before cutting

- Manage soft tissue around natural abutments, including tunnelling with connective tissue grafts
- Plan vertical dimension increases and conservative repair of erosion and abrasion
Inside the course
Designing treatment in the digital era
Part one looks at what new technology changes in prosthodontics, how to plan for both appearance and occlusion, smile design as a communication tool, and how current clinical strategies shape the plan.
Minimally invasive and adhesive options
Part two gathers a simplified layering method for posterior composites, a clinical previsualization video, conservative rehabilitation of worn dentitions, combining minimally invasive esthetics with Invisalign, and preparation that stays in enamel.
The critical interface
Part three focuses on natural appearance at the gingival margin: a filmed tunnelling and CTG procedure, a live session on cementation fundamentals and materials, a live planning session on the orthodontist’s role, perio-prosthetic considerations and provisionals.
Recorded office hours
Three Q&A sessions with Mintrone and Fabbri, recorded in April and May 2020, add almost three hours of discussion around participants’ questions.
Built for
- Dentists taking on multi-unit workA structured route from diagnosis to provisionals on natural teeth.
- Esthetic-focused cliniciansWell-known names on mock-ups, enamel preparation and gingival harmony.
