Papillae, pockets and edgeless preparations — soft tissue surgery, non-surgical perio and B.O.P.T. in digital workflows
Six international clinicians — among them peri-implantitis author Marisa Roncati, Tokyo SJCD director Shigeru Nakamura and Lebanese implant surgeon Saad Moustapha — contribute to Perio-Plastic Foundations: Biology, Protocols, and B.O.P.T.. Three modules with 14 lessons, just under 8 hours of video, address rebuilding interdental papillae around teeth and implants, conservative management of periodontitis for dentists and hygienists, and the Biologically Oriented Preparation Technique in both analog and CAD/CAM workflows.

What you’ll be able to do
- Reduce black triangles with surgical and non-surgical papilla techniques
- Perform coronally advanced flaps with connective tissue grafts for root coverage and volume
- Manage open-membrane d-PTFE techniques in ridge preservation, GBR and implant sites
- Refine subgingival debridement, re-evaluation and laser-assisted therapy
- Prepare teeth and shape tissue with B.O.P.T., then design crowns digitally
Inside the course
Pink architecture (2 h 11 min)
The first module focuses on soft tissue quality and mucogingival defects at teeth and implants: flap design and suturing for fast, aesthetic healing, CAF and CTG, and exposed d-PTFE membranes such as NeoGen and Cytoplast for immediate or delayed implants.
Non-surgical periodontics (1 h 38 min)
Updated hand instrumentation and root planing, evidence-based reassessment after initial therapy, the supporting role of lasers, long-term maintenance planning and follow-up of bone remineralisation in treated cases.
B.O.P.T. old and new (3 h 58 min)
The longest module covers vertical preparation to the protocol, guiding peri-gingival tissue with provisionals, digital crown design on edgeless margins and CAD/CAM within B.O.P.T. implant treatment.
Built for
- Periodontists and implant surgeonsCurrent papilla and membrane techniques in one module.
- Hygienists and general dentistsA modern non-surgical protocol with re-evaluation criteria.
- Prosthodontists exploring vertical preparationsB.O.P.T. linked to digital crown design.

Before you buy
Can I see the titles of all 14 lessons?
Only module-level topics are available; individual lesson titles and which instructor teaches each one are not listed.
Do the three modules connect to one another?
Loosely. They share a soft-tissue theme but are separate blocks by different speakers, so it works best as three short courses in one purchase.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
