Clear aligner therapy in 11 expert lectures — adjuncts, growing patients, Class II, deep bite and rescue of off-track cases
Ten orthodontists with long aligner track records, among them Jay Bowman, Tommaso Castroflorio, Vincenzo D’Antò, Waddah Sabouni, Chris Chang and Diego Peydro Herrero, contribute to Aligners from A to Z. Over 18 h 36 min you follow aligner treatment from children aged six to demanding adult malocclusions, with a strong emphasis on biomechanics, auxiliaries and what to do when the virtual plan and the mouth disagree.

What you’ll be able to do
- Add miniscrews, buttons, elastics and aligner pliers to make programmed movements more predictable
- Plan aligner cases for children and adolescents, including expansion and mandibular advancement
- Camouflage adult Class II with distalization or jump-simulation staging and elastics
- Correct deep bite, open bite, Class III and severe crowding, with or without extractions
- Recognise and fix off-track problems: poor fit, IPR errors, lost torque, posterior disocclusion and the watermelon-seed effect
Inside the course
Why aligners fail and how adjuncts help
The course opens with the literature on aligner limitations and the adjuncts introduced to overcome them, such as TAD anchorage and bootstrap mechanics. A near three-hour session then works through planning mistakes, rotations, extrusion with elastics, refinements and finishing problems.
Growing patients
Two lectures deal with patients from six to eighteen: expansion, attachment choice in early treatment, ectopic teeth and aligner-integrated mandibular advancement, with bone age and growth potential guiding the choice between activation, distalization and dentoalveolar correction.
Complex adult cases
Evidence-based Class II camouflage, surgical and non-surgical deep bite management, CBCT-assisted planning with TADs and segmental braces, and a case-driven lecture on premium aligner systems show how far the technique can be pushed.
Biology and occlusion
The final lectures return to research on attachment design, anchorage reinforcement and rotation of rounded teeth, and place aligners within a wider view of occlusion and the craniomandibular system.

Before you buy
Which aligner system appears in the case material?
Much of the case material uses Invisalign and ClinCheck, including Invisalign First and mandibular advancement features, though the biomechanical principles apply to other systems.
Does it overlap with other aligner courses?
Several speakers here also appear in larger orthodontic bundles, so check your library if you already own aligner programmes by the same clinicians.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
