Every bleaching route in one place — in-office, tray, laser, internal and white-spot protocols from five clinicians
Five lecturers, including tray-bleaching pioneer Van Haywood, share the six sessions of Teeth whitening: all techniques, a course of 8 h 50 min. It spans enamel defect management with MI Paste, Icon and Etch Bleach Seal, peroxide chemistry, office and at-home whitening, laser and LED activation, and single dark tooth cases treated vitally or through the access cavity. The aim is to let you choose the right method for any discoloration you meet.

What you’ll be able to do
- Diagnose the cause of extrinsic and intrinsic discoloration and pick a matching method
- Treat white spot lesions and fluorosis with resin infiltration, MI Paste or Etch Bleach Seal

- Fabricate and supervise custom trays for home whitening, including single-tooth trays
- Carry out internal bleaching on root-treated teeth while guarding against cervical resorption
Inside the course
Minimally invasive enamel care
The first session deals with defects before whitening: fluorosis criteria, remineralising paste, when to infiltrate with Icon around orthodontic treatment, congenital defects, isolation, and a combined protocol for stubborn cases.
Chemistry, lights and lasers
Hydrogen versus carbamide peroxide and sodium perborate, how chromophores break down, toothpaste ingredients such as charcoal and enzymes, and a comparison of KTP and erbium lasers against LED sources, with the cooling mechanism explained.
Office, home and over-the-counter options
Indications including patients under 18, gingival protection, strips and prefilled trays, pulp effects, combined office-plus-home regimes and maintenance advice — plus a short practice-building segment on offering whitening.
The single dark tooth
Van Haywood’s closing session covers smile analysis, vital and non-vital causes, tray design and insertion checks, internal and inside-outside bleaching, prognosis and clinical cases.

Before you buy
Is this one continuous programme or separate lectures stitched together?
Each of the six sessions is a stand-alone talk by a different expert, so basics such as peroxide chemistry and indications come up more than once.
Does it teach a particular whitening brand?
Named products such as MI Paste and the Icon system appear, but the emphasis is on technique and evidence rather than one manufacturer.
Do I get CME credit or a certificate?
No. Clinicapedia provides the educational content only — no CME or CE credits, MOC points or certificates of completion are included with this product.
